Manila boxer Marlon Bacalando will fight the unbeaten JL Laurente over four rounds in the opening match at the Ultimate Knockout Challenge next month. It will be the first fight back for the 32 year old lightweight Bacalando since an appearance in late 2019. Bacalando is an orthodox boxer that trains in Muntinlupa City, and made his debut in 2017. Despite having only six fights, Bacalando has already competed with very good opponents such as Ariel Puton, Harison Caba and Ali Canega. JL Laurente is no easy task for any boxer, and it will be interesting to see where Marlon Bacalando is at in his preparation for this comeback match.
