Dương Đức Bảo - HCV Muay trẻ Thế giới 2023 đã có màn ra mắt không thể ấn tượng hơn trước tay đấm Lương Nguyễn Công Khải. Liên tiếp các tình huống tấn công bằng tay trái từ thế tấn southpaw của Đức Bảo đã khiến trọng tài phải dừng trận đấu ở hiệp thứ 2. Chiến thắng knockout kĩ thuật cho Dương Đức Bảo trong lần đầu tiên xuất hiện tại VSP Pro 9.
Lê Nguyễn Hoàng Long bước vào trận đấu với Trương Hải Biền cùng chiến thuật khá nguy hiểm: "nhả" cho đối thủ hiệp 1 để vùng lên tấn công trong những hiệp sau. Dù vậy, lối thi đấu ngẫu hứng không giúp Hoàng Long lật lại kết quả trước một Hải Biền tỉnh táo và cẩn trọng. Chung cuộc, cả hai kết thúc trận đấu với tỷ số hòa 39-37, 37-39, 38-38.
VSP PRO #9: Đinh Minh Tuân thắng điểm không đồng thuận trước Nguyễn Đình Phong Quân
Nguyễn Đình Phong Quân mở màn trận đấu hạng 49kg đầy bất ngờ với cú đấm thẳng tay sau knockdown Đinh Minh Tuân. Ở hiệp 2, áp lực của Phong Quân liên tiếp khiến do Đinh Minh Tuân vất vả chống đỡ. Trở lại ngoạn mục với sự chủ động trong hai hiệp đấu cuối, Đinh Minh Tuân giành chiến thắng tính điểm không đồng thuận (37-38, 38-37, 38-37) trước Nguyễn Đình Phong Quân.
Trận đấu ở hạng 79kg giữa Nguyễn Ngọc Quyền (đỏ) và Võ Thành Đức (xanh) gay cấn ngay từ những giây đầu tiên với những pha ra đòn "búa tạ" từ cả hai tài năng trẻ. Liên tiếp những pha trao đổi đòn đấm cực kì chất lượng được tung ra tới những giây cuối cùng. Chung cuộc, trận đấu giữa Ngọc Quyền và Thành Đức kết thúc với tỉ số hòa đa số: 38-38, 38-38, 39-38.
Nguyễn Tấn Thành đã có màn thể hiện hoàn toàn áp đảo trước tay đấm tân binh Trần Xuân Hưng. Khả năng kiểm soát cự li hợp lý ngay từ hiệp 1, Tấn Thành liên tiếp có các tình huống tung đòn đấm thẳng tay sau lên đối thủ ở góc đài xanh. Tới hết hiệp 3, những pha tấn công của Nguyễn Tấn Thành đã khiến góc đài của Xuân Hưng xin dừng trận đấu. Chiến thắng knockout kĩ thuật cho Nguyễn Tấn Thành ở thời điểm kết thúc hiệp 3.

When you have got height, reach, youth and good looks - what else do you really need ??
17 year old Binh Duong Boxing Team prospect Truong Hai Bien returns to VSP PRO, only two months since he debuted against Nguyễn Khắc Dũng. Bien dropped a points decision to his Hanoi opponent, but it was very obvious he has a mile of improvement, and his team were keen to get him back into the ring as soon as possible.
Bien at 173cm has nice height for the super lightweight class, and if he can learn to create angles a little more, will be able to have more success fighting on the outside than he did at his debut. But despite his inexperience, he certainly has the makings of a good boxer.
Nguyễn Khắc Dũng brought lots of pressure in the August bout, and next Saturday night, Lê Nguyễn Hoàng Long brings pressure in spades !
But for sure, height, reach, youth and good looks will all combine on the night and we will see a vastly improved Truong Hai Bien at VSP Gym next Saturday.

One of Ho Chi Minh City's most popular boxers returns to next Saturday night for the 9th installment of the very popular VSP PRO.
Lê Nguyễn Hoàng Long has perhaps been one of Saigon's unluckiest boxers with injuries, and he resumed from a very long break at VSP PRO last July.
In what was meant to be a "soft" return to the sport he loves, Long was unfortunate to lose his debutant opponent at the very last moment.
Not one to avoid a challenge, Long accepted the monumental task of being matched with in form national team star Nguyễn Hà Minh.
Long showed lots of great signs in his comeback fight, before being caught by his top class opponent late in the bout.
Next Saturday night, Long meets Binh Duong youngster TRƯƠNG HẢI BIỀN in what should be a cracking bout. Long definitely possesses the experience edge over his taller and rangier rival, and it will be interesting to see if he is able to keep this young gun on a tight leash.
One thing for sure, Lê Nguyễn Hoàng Long is a real crowd pleaser and he will definitely be throwing bombs however long the battle lasts.

Lương Nguyễn Công Khải is one of the best known names in Vietnam boxing, yet the Quảng Ngãi fighter vanished from the sporting landscape for close to 3 years !
Khải was highly regarded on the local scene, even winning a HCMC title, but years of training took a toll on his body. He decided enough was enough, and ended up having surgery to deal with his chronic shoulder pain, and also his restricted power and movement. But whilst the surgery was deemed a success, there was an extensive period of rehabilitation to endure.
These were long hours of constant stretching and strengthening, and finally Khải knew it was time to put his shoulder to the test. He entered the ring for the first time in three years back in August - a VSP PRO match against former youth champ Truong Ngo Gia Huy - definitely no easy task for your first time back in the ring !
The match was excellent, and despite some ring rust and being slightly short of fitness, the Killer showed many qualities of his former self. At the end, the judges could not seperate the two fighters, and declared it a draw, but it was very obvious that Khai would soon be a force to be reckoned with.
And as if it was scripted, the KILLER returns next Saturday night for VSP PRO 9. He is matched up against DƯƠNG ĐỨC BẢO - a southpaw from Max Fight club in HCMC who will be making his professional debut. The reports are extremely good on this boy, and his team are confident they can keep Khải out of the winner's list for a little while longer.
But based on what we saw in August, and knowing the level that Lương Nguyễn Công Khải was at before he was injured, this may be a big task for Bao.

On June 3rd, VBO President Dr. Lim Song attended 40th IBF Convention in Atlantic city, USA. There, Dr. Song made a formal proposal to host 2026 IBF Convention in Vietnam.
The global convention bring together 300~400 experts in the professional boxing industry across the world.
Hosting a Global Convention for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) in Vietnam would offer a multitude of benefits, not just for the boxing community but for the country as a whole.
1. Elevating Vietnam's Boxing Profile:
