Vietnam has no shortage of great female fight talent, and VSP PRO is giving fans a glimpse of some of the girls that love the sport of boxing.
Le Ngoc Anh (left) was a very impressive winner at a recent event, and she was joined on Saturday night by the inimitable Le Thi Bang.
Bang is arguably the best boxer that Vietnam has produced (of either gender) in recent years, and it was a thrill to see her lending her support to the competing boxers at VSP PRO 6.

Another great night at the fights in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday.
Many impressive performances, including that of "Young Blood" Le Hoàng Hiệp.
Baby Kong didn't have it all his own way, but put on a great display of boxing to sweep the rounds. Hiệp showed that if you can't out muscle a very strong opponent, then clever boxing with "punches in bunches" will certainly do the trick.
It was the second stunning win in a row for the HCMC based killer.

Hiệp 1: Hai võ sỹ đều cho thấy kỹ thuật tuyệt vời với nền tảng tập luyện boxing bài bản và gặt hái nhiều thành tích ở cấp độ quốc gia.
Phan Minh Quân chủ động ép đài, tung ra body-shot và tìm đòn móc. Trong khi đó Đàm Ngọc Đức dù bị ép đài vẫn di chuyển thông minh và những cú trả đòn thông minh, hiệu quả.
Hiệp 2: Minh Quân vẫn giữ thế thủ high-guard và tiến vào dồn ép đàn em Ngọc Đức. Tuy vậy những đòn tay sau và khả năng di chuyển thoát góc vẫn giúp Ngọc Đức giữ được khoảng cách an toàn.
Trận đấu rất căng thẳng khi cả hai tay đấm đều thể hiện tốt ý đồ chiến thuật. Phải đến cuối hiệp đấu Minh Quân trong tình huống ép đài mới tìm thấy liên tiếp combo đấm móc chất lượng trúng vùng mặt Ngọc Đức.
Hiệp 3: Minh Quân vẫn chủ động áp sát trong khi Ngọc Đức di chuyển linh hoạt, tìm cách phản công và thoát góc. Phải đến khoảng 30 giây cuối cùng hiệp đấu mới "nóng" khi cả hai võ sỹ đứng giữa đài liên tục đổi đòn cực kỳ hấp dẫn.
Hiệp 4: Kịch bản "nóng bỏng" ở cuối hiệp 3 được cả hai tay đấm tiếp tục thể hiện ở 3 phút hiệp đấu thứ 4. Không còn nhiều tình huống di chuyển, thay vào đó cả hai hầu như chỉ đứng ở giữa đài và liên tục đổi đòn.
Dù tốc độ né đòn khá tốt nhưng Ngọc Đức vẫn dính nhiều đòn hơn. Những cú đấm móc và jab của Minh Quân cho thấy sự chuẩn xác và hiệu quả tốt hơn góp phần giúp anh ghi điểm ở hiệp đấu quyết định.
Kết quả: 39-37, 39-37, 38-38. Phan Minh Quân thắng điểm không đồng thuận.

Nguyễn Hoàng Quốc Huy thắng bằng tính điểm trước Đoàn Văn Hiệu!!!
Hiệp 1: Tay đấm với 9 năm tập boxing và giành nhiều thành tích cấp quốc gia Nguyễn Hoàng Quốc Huy đã tạo ra quá nhiều khó khăn cho Đoàn Văn Hiệu. Quốc Huy di chuyển linh hoạt và làm chủ võ đài. Những đòn móc và đấm over-hand của Quốc Huy khiến Văn Hiệu rất vất vả chống đỡ. Thậm chí máu đã đổ ở phần cạnh tai trái của Văn Hiệu.
Hiệp 2: Quốc Huy vẫn duy trì lối đánh như hiệp 1 và những cú đấm rất mạnh của anh đã ghi điểm. Tuy vậy, hiệp này cũng chứng kiến màn trả đòn của Văn Hiệu rõ rệt hiệu quả hơn. Những đòn đấm móc và tay sau của Văn Hiệu khi Quốc Huy áp sát phần nào giúp anh ghi điểm.
Hiệp 3: Quốc Huy ghi điểm với 1 cú over-hand rất nặng bằng tay phải. Thế trận khá cân bằng khi hai võ sỹ đều tích cực trả đòn. Đã có thời điểm những đòn móc nặng ký của Quốc Huy sượt qua mặt Văn Hiệu khiến anh không tìm được đòn knock-out.
Hiệp 4: Đoàn Văn Hiệu chỉ trụ vững nhờ ý chí. Quốc Huy liên tục áp sát, dồn ép và tung ra đòn móc và jab. Tuy nhiên, ở thời điểm cuối cùng trận đấu nên Quốc Huy cũng xuống sức và anh không thể tìm thấy đòn knock-out.
Kết quả: 40-36, 40-36, 40-36. Quốc Huy chiến thắng tuyệt đối.

Nguyễn Hà Minh thắng knock-out kỹ thuật trước Lê Nguyễn Hoàng Long!!!
Hiệp 1: Đòn tay sau, móc trái và combo đòn 1-2 rất nhanh và hiệu quả của tay đấm trẻ Nguyễn Hà Minh đã giúp anh tạo ra sự khác biệt rõ rệt với đối thủ Lê Nguyễn Hoàng Long. Dù có 1-2 tình huống đấm trúng mặt đối thủ nhưng chất lượng đòn của Hoàng Long vẫn chưa tốt. Không khó nhận ra sự vượt trội của tay đấm đang thuộc biên chế đội tuyển boxing quốc gia Hà Minh.
Hiệp 2: Hoàng Long chủ động áp sát và có đòn móc phải trúng đích khá tốt. Tuy vậy ngay sau đó Hà Minh đã giữ khoảng cách và có đòn móc trái khiến Hoàng Long chuệch choạc tư thế. Bước vào phút thi đấu cuối cùng Hà Minh tăng tốc dồn ép và liên tục ra đòn buộc Hoàng Long vất vả chống đỡ. Rõ ràng Hà Minh rất muốn tìm thấy đòn knock-out ở thời điểm này. Rất may cho Hoàng Long khi anh vẫn trụ vững.
Hiệp 3: Sau chừng 30 giây thi đấu, trong pha đổi đòn ở giữa đài Hà Minh đã có cú đấm tay rất mạnh trúng cằm Hoàng Long và võ sỹ này đã ngã xuống. Một đòn đấm rất nhanh, chuẩn xác giúp Hà Minh giành chiến thắng knock-out đầu tiên ở sự kiện VSP Pro #6.
Lê Hoàng Hiệp thắng bằng tính điểm trước Nguyễn Ngọc Thắng ở hạng 55kg sự kiện Boxing chuyên nghiệp VSP Pro 6!
Hiệp 1: Tay đấm trẻ ngổ ngáo Lê Hoàng Hiệp tiếp tục thể hiện phong cách không lẫn vào đâu được trên sàn VSP Pro. Anh suýt chút nữa tìm được cú móc trái trúng đích nặng ký ngay đầu trận.
Những cũng rất nhanh Nguyễn Ngọc Thắng với lợi thế sải tay, chiều cao và tốc độ di chuyển đã đáp trả không kém phần máu lửa. Ngọc Thắng đã có 1 đòn tay sau rất nặng trong tình huống ép được Hoàng Hiệp vào ring. Còn Hoàng Hiệp có 2 cú móc trái như búa bổ khiến đối thủ choáng váng.
Hiệp 2: Hạ thấp trọng tâm và chủ động áp sát đối thủ trước khi tung ra combo đòn móc bằng cả hai tay, Hoàng Hiệp cho thấy sự hiệu quả tối đa với phương án này. Ít nhất đã có 3 tình huống những cú móc trái rất nặng ký của Baby Kong Hoàng Hiệp đã ghim trúng mặt Ngọc Thắng.
Hiệp 3: Những bước di chuyển của Ngọc Thằng càng trở nên kém linh hoạt trong khi Hoàng Hiệp tiếp tục lầm lũi dồn ép đối thủ vào ring.Những cú móc sườn hoặc đấm nhứ bằng tay phải của Hoàng Hiệp và sau đó kết thúc bằng pha móc trái nặng ký đã khiến Ngọc Thắng choáng váng.
Hiệp 4: Ngọc Thắng hoàn bế tắc trong việc tìm ra cách hóa giải đòn của Hoàng Hiệp.Những tình huống vùng lên, say đòn của Ngọc Thắng ở giữa hiệp không giúp anh đảo chiều trận đấu. Ở phút thi đấu cuối cùng của hiệp đấu, Hoàng Hiệp có cú móc trái trúng phần thái dương khiến Ngọc Thắng khuỵu xuống và trọng tài phải đếm tới 9 với võ sỹ này.
Dù Ngọc Thắng ra dấu xin đánh tiếp nhưng may mắn cho anh trận đấu chỉ còn hơn chục giây nên kịp tránh được trận thua knock-out.
Kết quả: 39-36, 40-35, 39-36. Lê Hoàng Hiệp thắng bằng tính điểm.
Hoàng Thùy Linh thắng bằng tính điểm trước Ngô Thanh Nhã trong trận đấu nữ duy nhất tại sự kiện Boxing chuyên nghiệp VSP Pro 6.
Hiệp 1: Võ sỹ đã quen mặt ở sàn đấu boxing quốc nội, Thanh Nhã chủ động áp sát và tích cực ra đòn. Những đòn tay sau khi áp sát của Thanh Nhã khá hiệu quả. Trong khi đó, dù trẻ hơn nhiều nhưng Hoàng Thùy Linh cũng cho thấy khả năng đáp trả đáng nể. Những đòn Jab khá tốt và 1 đòn móc trúng mặt đối thủ phần nào giúp Thùy Linh ghi điểm trước đàn chị.
Hiệp 2: Thanh Nhã tiếp tục áp sát và có những đòn tay sau tốt. Thùy Linh vẫn chống trả kiên cường với combo đòn đấm móc nhưng rõ ràng Thanh Nhã ghi điểm tích cực hơn ở hiệp này.
Hiệp 3: Hai võ sỹ tích cực đổi đòn. Nếu Thùy Linh có 1 đòn tay trước ghi điểm tốt ở đầu trận thì Thanh Nhã vẫn ghi dấu ấn với những đòn tay sau.
Hiệp 4: Mỗi võ sỹ đều có 1 đòn móc trúng mặt đối thủ ngay đầu hiệp. Thể lực suy giảm khiến cả Thanh Nhã lẫn Thùy Linh đều không đạt được độ chuẩn xác tối đa ở những cú ra đòn sau đó.
Kết quả: 39-37, 40-36, 39-37. Hoàng Thùy Linh giành chiến thắng.
Thái Hoàng Huy thắng điểm tuyệt đối trước Phạm Minh Thắng tại sự kiện Boxing chuyên nghiệp VSP Pro 6!
Hiệp 1: Tốc độ nhập cuộc rất nhanh và chỉ sau hơn 10 giây Thái Hoàng Huy đã có cú móc phải rất nặng trúng mặt khiến Phạm Minh Thắng loạng choạng. Sau gần 2 phút, Hoàng Huy tiếp tục có tình huống ép Minh Thắng vào ring và tung ra combo đòn khiến đối thủ suýt ngã xuống sàn.
Với lối đánh có phần "hoang dã", thiếu kinh nghiệm, Minh Thắng còn dính một đòn móc trái rất nặng. Thậm chí cuối hiệp 1 Minh Thắng trong một tình huống hớ hênh còn lĩnh trọn cú upper-cưt trúng vùng cằm. Suýt chút nữa đã có tình huống thắng knock-out cho Hoàng Huy.
Hiệp 2: Minh Thắng có pha ra đòn trúng đích đáng kể ở giữa hiệp nhưng tổng thể anh vẫn không tạo ra sự thay đổi nào đáng kể nhằm thu hẹp chênh lệch về thế trận. Hoàng Huy vẫn cho thấy tốc độ, kinh nghiệm và kỹ thuật ra đòn toàn diện hơn.
Hiệp 3: Thể lực của Minh Thắng bắt đầu suy giảm và Hoàng Huy đã dồn ép đối thủ vào ring liên tục tung ra những đòn hook và body-shot.
Có thể thấy nỗ lực tìm cách dứt điểm trận đấu bằng những cú upper-cut của Hoàng Huy và rất may mắn Minh Thắng mới trụ vững.
Hiệp 4: Hoàng Huy bất ngờ giảm tốc bằng những đòn jab cơ bản nhằm hạn chế sự hưng phấn và nỗ lực vùng lên của Minh Thắng. Và dù là đòn jab cơ bản thì Hoàng Huy vẫn ghi điểm khá tốt.Và trước khi kết thúc trận đấu Hoàng Huy vẫn kịp ghim đòn tay rất nặng trúng mặt đối thủ.
Kết quả: 40-36, 40-36, 40-36. Thái Hoàng Huy thắng điểm tuyệt đối, qua đó đánh dấu trận thắng thứ 3 sau 4 lần thượng đài ở chuỗi sự kiện VSP Pro.
Trần Tấn Quang Đạo có chiến thắng bằng tính điểm trước Nguyễn Khắc Dũng trong trận mở màn sự kiện Boxing chuyên nghiệp VSP Pro 6!
Hiệp 1: Hai võ sỹ nhập cuộc chậm nhưng không khó nhận ra sự chênh lệch về kinh nghiệm, kỹ thuật cũng như thể chất của Trần Tấn Quang Đạo.
Chàng nhân viên văn phòng sinh năm 1991, Quang Đạo tận dụng rõ lợi thế sải tay và tốc độ để làm chủ trận đấu.
Những đòn jab tay trái của Quang Đạo không chỉ vừa ngăn đối thủ vừa ghi điểm mà còn tạo ra combo đòn sau đó kết thúc bằng cú hook phải tay lợi hại. Hiệp đầu tiên nghiêng rõ về Quang Đạo và ở chiều ngược lại Nguyễn Khắc Dũng bộc lộ rõ những sự hạn chế.
Hiệp 2: Kịch bản không thay đổi khi Quang Đạo vẫn tỏ rõ vượt trội với combo đấm 1-2. Không chỉ đấm trúng vùng mặt đối thủ, những đòn bodyshot của Quang Đạo còn khiến Khắc Dũng chật vật chống đỡ ở cuối hiệp.
Hiệp 3: Khắc Dũng chủ động áp sát nhằm tìm cơ hội ra đòn nhưng khi nó chưa mang lại nhiều hiệu quả thì võ sỹ từ Hà Nội liên tục dính đòn.
Phải sau hơn 1 phút đầu tiên Khắc Dũng mới có cú jab chất lượng trúng mặt đối thủ. Sự lỳ lợm của Khắc Dũng, và thể lực cũng có phần đi xuống của Quang Đạo khiến trận đấu biến thành màn cận chiến mà cả hai đều dính đòn từ đối phương.
Hiệp 4: Khắc Dũng tiếp tục duy trì phương án duy nhất giữ thế thủ cao găng (high-guard) áp sát và tìm cú đấm móc. Dù tìm thấy một đầm đón nặng ký trúng mặt Quang Đạo ở giữa hiệp nhưng nó chưa đủ đẻ Khắc Dũng knock-out Quang Đạo. Trong khi đó, dù thể lực đi xuống Quang Đạo vẫn có những cú đấm móc trả đòn, những pha body-shot chất lượng.
Kết quả: 39-37, 39-37, 40-36. Trần Tấn Quang Đạo thắng bằng tính điểm!

Ngay sau buổi cân kí, Chúng tôi đã phỏng vấn ngay võ sĩ Quang Đạo về việc anh đánh giá đối thủ kì này của anh như thế nào ?
"Tôi nghĩ đối thủ lần này của tôi là một đối thủ có sức mạnh trong mỗi đòn đánh và tôi đoán cũng sẽ là trận đấu khó khăn với tôi sắp tới, nhưng không vì vậy mà khiến tôi lo sợ đối thủ của mình. Cả tôi và anh ta đều đã có lời qua tiếng lại với nhau trên mạng xã hội trước đó và đã có xảy ra 1 chút va chạm trong buổi họp báo nhưng ban tổ chức đã can thiệp và không có điều đáng tiếc nào xảy ra. Tuy nhiên, tôi sẽ cố gắng cống hiến cho khán giả theo dõi trực tiếp một trận đấu mãn nhãn và trên tinh thần fairplay & respect".

Nói một chút về võ sĩ Khắc Dũng anh đến từ Hà Nội tuy đã tập boxing được vài năm nhưng anh lại không có cơ hội thi đấu, vào tháng trước anh đã đối đầu với Minh Quân một võ sĩ giỏi nhưng rất tiếc vì anh không có thời gian để chuẩn bị tốt cho trận đấu đó.
Nhưng bây giờ hoàn toàn khác. Cơ thể của anh đã sẵn sàng để chiến đấu. Thể lực và kỹ năng cũng đã vượt trội hơn.
Đây là những dấu hiệu cho thấy. Trận đấu này dã rất nóng từ trước khi trận đấu xảy ra. Kết quả ra sao ? ai sẽ là người chiến thắng, sẽ được hai võ sĩ trả lời vào ngày 29/7 tại sự kiện VSP PRO 6.

Không giống như Boxing nghiệp dư, nơi vận động viên được trả lương bởi những đội tuyển tỉnh, thành phố hay quốc gia mà họ đang đầu quân tập luyện, cùng với số tiền thưởng dựa trên thành tích thi đấu, các võ sĩ Boxing chuyên nghiệp giống như những người kinh doanh tự do, mà sản phẩm ở đây chính là các trận đấu và hình ảnh của họ.
Trong đó, vai trò của các nhà quảng bá (promoter) là rất quan trọng.
Các nhà quảng bá - hay chúng ta vẫn thường biết tới với tên gọi những "ông bầu" có nhiệm vụ mang về những hợp đồng cho võ sĩ. Hiện tại, trên thế giới các nhà quảng bá sẽ kiếm tiền theo 4 cách chính sau đây.
- Tiền bán vé xem trực tiếp: đây là khoản thu dễ tính toán cụ thể nhất dựa trên giá vé và số lượng vé bán ra qua từng sự kiện.
- Tiền bản quyền truyền hình: tương tự như bán vé trực tiếp, các nhà quảng bá sẽ bán trận đấu cho các đơn vị phát sóng, thu phí từ các khán giả xem truyền hình.
- Tiền tài trợ - quảng cáo từ các nhãn hàng: khi võ sĩ xây dựng được hình ảnh và tên tuổi, nhà quảng bá sẽ tìm kiếm các thương hiệu có nhu cầu tài trợ, hoặc thuê võ sĩ làm đại diện hình ảnh, quảng cáo cho sản phầm.
- Tiền gửi võ sĩ thi đấu: các nhà quảng bá của võ sĩ sẽ kiếm tiền từ việc gửi các võ sĩ ra nước ngoài thi đấu. Lúc này, bên trả tiền là nhà quảng bá đối tác tổ chức sự kiện.
Thế nhưng, với thực tế ở thị trường Việt Nam, các võ sĩ đã có thể kiếm thu nhập từ 4 nguồn trên hay chưa? Liệu có trở ngại nào, từ chủ quan tới khách quan mà họ phải đối mặt để thực sự biến Boxing chuyên nghiệp thành một nghề nuôi sống bản thân hay không? The King's Warrior Charly Suarez has touched down in Sydney ahead of his clash of "Philippines Best v Australia's Best" next Wednesday night March 15th.
Suarez takes on gun Aussie Paul Fleming 28-0 for four belts, including what are likely IBF and IBO World title eliminators.
The Philippines star got some rounds in at Bondi Boxing Club with former world champion TJ Doheny. The Irish star will face off with Sam Goodman as the main undercard to the Tszyu-Harrison event in Sydney this Sunday.
And what was the gossip that came from the "friendly" sparring between Suarez and Doheny?
"Goodman is in for one helluva fight !"

The Hanoi Hitman returns to the ring later this month at VSP Gym in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
Despite a wealth of various fight form experience, Hai is a relative newcomer to professional boxing.
He ventured to Manila in August 2022, and showed lots of ring rust when outpointed by the very promising and unbeaten Jerald Into.
But the granite featured Hanoi boxer made amends at his next bout in emphatic fashion - a stoppage victory over Indonesian prospect Paisal Panjaitan. Nguyễn Văn Hải dropped his opponent in the first, before finishing his task with power shots in round 3.
Nguyễn Văn Hải will be appearing at "VSP PRO" on Saturday March 25th at VSP Gym in District 1 HCMC.
Cagayan de Oro fight legend Mark John Yap had a busy start to the new year.
Yap finished 2022 with a torrid exhibition bout in Ho Tram Vietnam, followed up shortly after with an explosive win in Manila against hard man Leonardo Doronio. But amongst the close scheduling of fights, he also experienced the blessing of the birth of his baby daughter Yuri.
The Yap family took some much needed "down time" and this week, the Mindanao star has resumed light training again.
It is expected that fans will see Mark John Yap back in the ring perhaps late April or early May.

The word is that Australian Paul Fleming has been on fire in training, and has been shredding sparring partners in advance of his huge clash with Charly Suarez on March 15th.
So much so that Team Fleming has been forced to bring some big names into camp in order to be pitch perfect for Suarez.
George Kambosos has done rounds, and now former world champ Andrew Maloney is the latest to lend his skills. The boys did some high quality rounds this week and Fleming really impressed.
The Aussie star will spar again with Maloney this Sunday as part of a public workout to promote the impending battle with Suarez.
There is huge confidence coming from those close to Fleming that he will not only hand the whiz kid Suarez his first defeat, it will come by way of stoppage.
Paul "Showtime" Fleming is unbeaten in 28 fights, with 18 of those wins coming by way of KNOCKOUT.

Philippines star Charly Suarez heads to Australia next month to take on the unbeaten local champion Paul Fleming (28-0)
Suarez was an acclaimed amateur, and despite a relatively recent transition to the pro ranks, the King's Warrior has already racked up 14 impressive wins.
And identical to Fleming, the Davao fighter also retains an unbeaten record.
But what seems astounding about Suarez is that, for a boxer with such a wealth of amateur experience, he has improved markedly since turning pro.
So much so, he actually appears to be an even better prospect at the longer round format.
That said, Suarez was touted as the "next big thing" when he decided to finally go pro, and here is some ringside action taken from the first professional performance of Charly Suarez.

Baconaje heads to GenSan this week for a crack at the Philippines national belt on Sunday February 26th.
Charly Suarez has a big assignment if his own. He heads to Sydney very soon, where he will challenge Aussie #1 Paul Fleming for four major belts. A win places Suarez in the world top 10 with three of those, and perhaps makes him mandatory for both IBF and IBO world titles.

Arnel Baconaje takes the show on the road, when he heads to General Santos City for a national title bid on Sunday February 26th.
"The Silencer" faces top local prospect Presco Carcosia (10-2) for the Philippines national super featherweight title. Success guarantees the winner a top 10 ranking with the OPBF.
Arnel Baconaje has been in great form, having competed recently in Vietnam in December 2022.
Despite competing above his weight class, the pinoy turned in a fantastic performance in his bid for the IBF Asia Lightweight title.
In a match that could have gone either way, Baconaje lost narrowly on points on two cards, and was given a draw on another. It was an epic contest, and a valiant effort by Vietnam's Dinh Hong Quân, but there were many in attendance that thought the win should have gone to The Silencer.

Arnel Baconaje was recently in Vietnam at VSP Gym prepping for a December match with Vietnam champ Dinh Hong Quân.
That was a bout in Ho Tram for the IBF Asia Lightweight title, and despite the match being above his usual weight class, Baconaje and Quân fought an extremely close battle.
The Philippines man revered as "The Silencer" returns to the ring in General Santos City (the former home of Manny Pacquiao) on Sunday February 26th. And this time, it is another big fight.
Baconaje takes on the "the Iceman" Presco Carcosia (10-2 9KO) for the Philippines national championship at Super Featherweight.
The weight class will be more favorable this time, but he faces a seriously skilled and fast opponent in Carcosia, so it should be a great main event.
VSP are big admirers of Arnel Baconaje, who always prepares well and turns in excitement filled performances, so we wish him luck in pursuit of the Philippines title next Sunday.
RoyRoy Sumugat returns to the ring on March 30 to take on top young prospect Richard Bulacan.
The swinging southpaw from the Elorde team is one of the most natural talents in Philippines boxing, and combine that with his vast experience, Sumugat always presents as a formidable opponent.
Bulacan is an awesome talent, and though only 23 years of age, has already racked up 8 wins to launch his pro career. Despite his successes, Big Roy Sumugat represents his biggest potential scalp so far.
This is a great undercard bout in Pangasinan. Expect RoyRoy Sumugat to come swinging that HAMMER !
The youngest fighter to contest VSP PRO this month is Hanoi girl Ngo Ngoc Linh Chi, who matches up with Matrix Gym power puncher Le Thi Ngoc Hanh.
At only 17 years of age, and making her Pro debut, Chi started to learn boxing in May 2017.
Her aptitude was obvious, and she began competing in 2020 - achieving a silver medal in national youth championship in 2020, a bronze medal in the national youth championship in 2022, and also a bronze medal of national club championship in 2022 . Busy girl, and learning fast !!

Mark John Yap opened his new year account in stunning fashion, scoring a stoppage win over what appeared to be a very good version of Philippines Lightweight Leonardo Doronio.
Unable to secure a suitable 130 opponent for his first hitout of the year, Yap opted to jump a weight class and get a physical exam with the vastly experienced and durable Doronio.
It was very noticeable at the weigh-in, that aside from being the much larger boxer, Leonardo Doronio was in the best physical shape that he has been in for a very long time.
And he performed very well, while it lasted, and we look forward to seeing Doronio back again this year to see what he can produce.
But for Mark John Yap, it really was a patient yet lethal execution of a necessary task, and certainly showed shades of the brutality that he inflicted on Japan's best fighters prior to the pandemic.

Paul Fleming has questioned the experience of Liam Wilson's team after the younger man's controversial world-title loss, saying he would never have let the weigh-in go ahead.
And the ageing super featherweight says he will not be a "rebound fight" after being called out following Wilson's gut-wrenching defeat in Phoenix.
Wilson has appealed against the decision in his loss to Emanuel Navarrete, keeping alive slim hopes of a rematch after footage showed a 27-second allowance - almost triple the traditional count - when the Australian floored the red-hot favourite in the fourth round.
The rank outsider, in his US debut, also weighed in about 2kg lighter than expected in a bizarre lead-in drama that had Wilson's camp threatening to boycott the WBO title fight after claims of cheating.
Wilson was eventually stopped in the ninth round on Friday by a resurgent Navarrete, who became a three-division champion and improved to a perfect 11 wins in world-title fights to set up a lucrative blockbuster with fellow Mexican Oscar Valdez.
"I would have said, 'No way, these scales aren't right' and stopped it then and there and requested another set of scales," Fleming told AAP of the weigh-in drama in which Navarrete came in narrowly under the 59kg limit.
"I guess that's just inexperience."
Keen to capitalise on a profile boost after scaring the likely future hall-of-famer, Wilson has called out Fleming for an all-Australian blockbuster.
But Fleming (28 wins, one no result) fights at the same weight, is world ranked by rival bodies the WBA and IBF and is quickly rebuilding his following in a late-blooming career.
If the 34-year-old beats impressive Filipino Charly Suarez (18-0) on March 16 in Sydney he will move closer to an overdue title shot - but potentially further from a duel with WBO favourite Wilson.
He just got his shot at the world title," Beijing Olympian Fleming said.
"I'm nearly 35 and still haven't had mine, so it's the Suarez fight first and then I'm not going to fight Liam for his ego or a rebound.
"I only want fights that'll move me closer to a world title.
"If it is one of those, then 150 per cent let's do it; we've been calling for it and it's a bit funny now it suits him he's calling it out."
If the pair continue to diverge it could mean they only fight to unify different world-title belts.
"Liam's very dangerous very early, but from what I've seen he loses his way (in the later rounds)," Fleming said.
"He's got a good left hook, but that one shot ain't going to work fighting me.
"I'm more elusive; you've got to have more in your repertoire."

The team of Liam Wilson have turned their attentions to Australian indigenous star Paul Fleming, and possibly to Teofimo Lopez conqueror George Kambosos, if they are not granted a rematch after Saturday's controversial title fight in the US.
The No Limit team have lodged a complaint regarding the delay (up to 28 seconds) afforded to Emmanuel Navarrete after Wilson dropped him in the 4th round of their fight.
Paul Fleming has an outstanding record of 28 and 0, and many regard the man dubbed "Showtime" as the most naturally talented Aussie fighter in recent years. He is also ranked in the top 15 with the IBF, WBA and WBC, and will force his way into the top 10 assuming he is successful in his next bout on March 16th.
Paul Fleming meets Philippines star Charly Suarez in Sydney, and it appears the teams of Wilson and Fleming are both totally overlooking the unbeaten pinoy.
The word is strong in Australia that the Fleming team are extremely confident of delivering the King's Warrior his first loss, and are predicting it to come in spectacular fashion. They feel a knockout win is required to stamp his claims to being Australia's best in the weight class.
Alternatively, a win by Suarez elevates the Philippines man to #3 with the IBF, and a possible mouth watering clash with Liam Wilson.
Le Hoang Hiep took a dive in the deep end when he took on the Philippines Jetro Pabustan last December.
Despite jumping some weight classes, the rumored Russian gang member was confident he could handle the former WBO World title contender, and true to his word, he delivered a great all action display.
Baby Kong will return to the ring for VSP PRO this month, and as usual, he is immodest about his prospects.

When talking about the fabled Vietnamese Tiger fighting spirit, they surely must have based the narrative around Thai Hoang Huy !
This former HCMC Muay Thai champion fell in love with boxing only in recent times, and made his debut in an exhibition bout against an absolute killer named JonJon Estrada - a man who has created absolute carnage in just about every fight he contests.
Estrada had previously scored 15 wins as a professional and owns THE BEST knockout stats in the featherweight division - 14 of his victims have been put to sleep !
And Thai Hoang Huy had NEVER even competed in a boxing match !
Huy did a great job, and after surviving a round one knockdown, traded leather with Estrada until the referee stopped the match in round 3.
It was great learning for the fighter with the ring name of Nak Su, which naturally enough, means WARRIOR.
Saturday February 25, Nak Su is back, and will make his professional debut at VSP PRO.
Huy will contest a 4 round bout in the featherweight class of 57kg.

Palawan pugilist Erson Trinidad heads to Korakuen Hall Tokyo tomorrow, fuelled with the task of spoiling the pro debut of Japanese boxer Ryusei Matsumoto.
The local boxer is a well performed amateur, who even got to face Carlo Paalam in the 3 round format. But he has a significant task tomorrow against the boy from Puerto Princesa.
Erson "the Trigger" Trinidad has already notched up 5 wins and 3 knockouts, and his aim will be to show the Japanese crowd a bit of that famous Palawan island spice tomorrow.
Lots of interest in this one. Outstanding featherweight Emmanuel Navarrete moves up a weight class in an effort to take the vacant WBO super featherweight title.
Former world champ Oscar Valdez was the original opponent slated for Navarrete, but was subsequently replaced by Australian Liam Wilson.
Wilson is well known to Philippines fans as the man dropped by Joe Noynay, subsequently reversing that outcome in a rematch.
Wilson is a big 130lb fighter and always in great shape, so it will be interesting to see if Navarrete is as effective in the new weight class against a larger and heavy handed opponent.
Two of the best young emerging talents in the Philippines come out of Quibors Boxing Gym in Manila.
Weljon Mindoro and Jerald Into are still in the learning phase of their boxing careers, but have performed amazingly well so far, and have both managed to maintain unbeaten records.
Unlike many of their industry colleagues, Mindoro and Into are blessed with height and wing span, and this will be a huge asset once they progress to international bouts. Jerald Into has already had a taste, putting on a great performance to outpoint top Vietnam visitor Nguyễn Văn Hải at home in Manila in August 2022.
The two young fighters attracted some interested onlookers today, and were watched on by top trainer and fighter combination Delfin Boholst and Charly Suarez.\
Leonardo Doronio and Mark John Yap were the two most experienced boxers to grace the ring at REVOLUTION yesterday.
Both boxers looked in great shape, and it was very definitely the best version of Doronio we have seen in recent fights.
He pumped out skillful jabs that forced Yap to change position in the early rounds, and looked very comfortable in defense. Doronio also looked more dynamic than he has in a long while, and always looked dangerous. Based on yesterday's performance, Leonardo Doronio has a lot more wins in store.
Mark John Yap, superlatives often fall short, but his skills and killer were again to the fore.
Watch carefully how he set up that hook.
