FROM SAIGON TO A WORLD TITLE SHOT 🇻🇳🌏🥊
Over the years, VSP Promotions has brought many international boxers to Vietnam, giving them the chance to compete at events held at VSP Boxing Gym in Saigon and at many other venues.
One of them is Australian boxer Skye Falzon 🇦🇺, who faced Vietnamese fan favourite Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hảo at our GENESIS event in 2022.
Skye put on a very impressive performance that night. But who could have guessed that her career would go this far?
Since then, Skye has built an impressive professional record of 12 wins and 2 losses, earning herself a shot at a world title!
And now, the biggest challenge of her career lies ahead.
On January 9, Skye is scheduled to face Puerto Rican boxing icon Amanda Serrano 🇵🇷 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan.
A world champion in 7 different weight classes, Serrano is set to close out her illustrious career by defending her WBO and WBA world featherweight titles against the Australian challenger.
The event, promoted by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, puts Skye on a major international boxing stage and gives her the chance to face one of the biggest names in women's boxing worldwide.
Amanda Serrano is regarded as one of the greatest female boxers of all time. She twice stepped into the ring with superstar Katie Taylor in memorable fights that helped take women's boxing to new heights.
