The Wolverine JonJon Estrada is unleashed again this December, taking his superhero persona and hammer like fists to The Grand Ho Tram.
Estrada, known as "the Wolverine", has achieved cult status courtesy of his "don't die wondering" fighting style.
JonJon Estrada has perfected a low, stalking attack that has opponents constantly retreating, often to a violent demise. The Wolverine heads to the Esforta Arena Hachioji in Tokyo today, pitted against hot young local prospect Kai Watanabe (9-1).

Manila's Pablito Canada had a career record that included a run of losses, but all against the big dogs, and they were bouts where he was responsible for some great performances.
So when he faced JonJon Estrada, he knew he was facing a dangerous yet flawed fighter, and it was a match that he was super confident of winning.
Estrada v Canada was a slugfest, and in spite of Pablito reversing his fortunes and putting the Wolverine in trouble, he ultimately fell for the trap of going toe to toe with a knockout artist.
Canada was quick to make amends, travelling to the backyard of hot Mindanao prospect Michael Casama, and stopping the unbeaten boxer in the 8th round.
Pablito Canada now turns his eyes to the Wolverine, and feels he has unfinished business with the man with two fists of iron.
This will be a mega fight.

The closest thing Manila has to a modern day super hero is right now on a blood lust, and he is counting the days for his ring return at UKC REVOLUTION 2023 at the end of this month.
The Wolverine is back, and is already in what appears to be menacing shape, all set to face a previous and very determined foe - Pablito Canada.
Canada pulled off an outstanding knockout performance last start against the unbeaten Michael Casama, and is confident about repeating the dose with JonJon Estrada. The tall and rangy fighter considered himself unlucky when he previously tackled the Wolverine, and has been desperate to make amends ever since.
JonJon Estrada remains unimpressed by the rejuvenated Pablito Canada.
"I have trained hard to make it a great fight, and I will be doing my very best to win."
It could be argued that Canada was the victim of the wrong game plan when these two featherweights met previously.

Congratulations to the Philippines fighters that will be competing at the Grand Ho Tram in Vietnam on Saturday December 10. Arnel Baconaje and Charly will contest IBF titles in two of the main event matches.
Baconaje will take on incumbent lightweight champion Dinh Hong Quan, a Vietnam fighter that has recent history with pinoys Delmar Pellio and Jules Victoriano. Charly Suarez is expected to have a confirmed opponent soon.
This great pic was from the Reboot show way back in February 2021, and it was a major accomplishment by Mam Cucuy Elorde to pull it off!
Charly Suarez had been inactive (as were all local pinoy fighters) and the pandemic was proving to be a terrible time for many boxers who could not return home, and even worse, having a daily battle to feed themselves and their families.
VSP asked Mam Cucuy if it was possible to create a show so that Charly Suarez could resume his career. Despite all odds, she put together a great card that also unearthed another big talent - the Wolverine JonJon Estrada!
The event was aptly named Reboot "New Beginning" ,and even though there were only 5 bouts, and the boxers had to endure a "quarantine bubble", it was a lot of fun and marked the start of boxing again in the Philippines.

KNOCKOUT artist Jon Jon Estrada looks to continue his winning streak as he takes on Japanese Kyonosuke Kameda in an eight-round bout on July 23, 2022 at the Edion Arena in Osaka, Japan.
The 33-year-old Estrada won four straight contests since losing to former Olympian Charly Suarez last year. He destroyed Rex Wao, Pablito Canada, Jestine Tesoro and his most recent former ALA Boy Jess Rhey Waminal. He knocked out Waminal in four rounds last March 12 in Parañaque City.
Estrada has already fought twice in Japan. He scored a seventh round knockout of Tasuku Nakagawa in 2018 in his first visit. He lost to Koshin Takeshima by unanimous decision in his second trip to the "Land of the Rising Sun."
The 23-year-old Kameda is looking to bounce back after losing his last fight against Hiroki Hanabusa by unanimous decision.
Kameda is a former Japan Boxing Commission featherweight champion. He won back-to-back fights against Daiki Asai and Tsubasa Narai before his latest defeat.
Estrada is 15-8-1 with 14 knockouts, while Kameda is 7-3-1 with six knockouts.
Estrada is the eighth Pinoy boxer to fight in Japan this month. Four-division world champions Nonito Donaire and Donnie Nietes, Froilan Saludar, Presco Carcosia, Jhon Gemino, Chris Ganoza and Tesoro all fought in Japan this month and lost their respective fights.

One of Papua New Guinea's best known fighters is headed to Manila, and has agreed to contest an exhibition bout in Paranaque on Saturday August 6th.
ANNIHILATION UKC will be preceded by a huge amateur show the day prior, and the PNG boxer will be looking for some valuable ring time to compensate for a year of inactivity. His opponent is not known yet, but will likely be a pinoy big name.
Richard Pumicpic, Jetro Pabustan, and the Wolverine JonJon Estrada are currently on the PNG banger's hit list!
Junior Raka is a former Arafura Games silver medallist, and has had 3 "official" professional bouts, winning 2 by Knockout. His loss was on points to the outstanding pinoy Roldan Aldea, in a WBA title match in early 2021.
The PNG Prodigy now has his sights set on challenging for that same belt against the freakish Charly Suarez, and his trip to the Philippines will be to remove ring rust, and to set sights on the King's Warrior as a potential future rival.
Junior Raka will head to the Philippines via HCMC Vietnam, where he will resume on Thursday July 28th. Raka takes pride of place as the main event at the show held at VSP BOXING GYM in HCMC.

Nói một chút về võ sĩ Khắc Dũng anh đến từ Hà Nội tuy đã tập boxing được vài năm nhưng anh lại không có cơ hội thi đấu, vào tháng trước anh đã đối đầu với Minh Quân một võ sĩ giỏi nhưng rất tiếc vì anh không có thời gian để chuẩn bị tốt cho trận đấu đó.

- Tiền gửi võ sĩ thi đấu: các nhà quảng bá của võ sĩ sẽ kiếm tiền từ việc gửi các võ sĩ ra nước ngoài thi đấu. Lúc này, bên trả tiền là nhà quảng bá đối tác tổ chức sự kiện.

Elorde boxer Yap was originally scheduled to fight a high level opponent here at The Grand Ho Tram Resort and Casino, but injuries and other fight card changes meant that featherweight Sikdar stepped up at short notice.
Great job by the Bangladesh boxer to survive early, but Yap's relaxed ring control had his rival constantly on the back foot and under a lot of pressure.
Watch for the change of gears in round three when Trainer Jetro Pabustan tells Yap to put the foot down on the accelerator and put an end to it.

to VSP PRO boxing girl Ngo Ngọc Linh Chi who just picked up Gold in the National Youth tournament.
Linh Chi won the 48kg category for 17-18 years, and despite it being a talent laden weight class, she showed some really good skills that complemented her signature high workrate style of boxing.
The Hanoi based fighter showed huge potential with her successful debut at VSP PRO in February, and it appears the sky is the limit for Ngo Ngọc Linh Chi.

It took former national boxing champion Nguyen Van Hai just 12 seconds to take down the on-form Abdul Motalib of Bangladesh at the international boxing event WBO Global Prelude.
Before the lightweight (61 kg) fight on Saturday night, Mottalib was in great form with five consecutive wins, including two victories by knockout. Hai, who has won the national championship for 14 consecutive times, also had five wins in six professional fights.
At the official weigh-in before the fight in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province that borders HCMC, Mottalib tried to provoke Hai by standing in front of him and blocking his view during the press conference. But Hai kept his composure.
There was not much to say about the fight as 12 seconds in, Hai threw a powerful and staggering right hook that immediately floored Motalib. The referee stopped the fight and gave a knockout win to Hai. This is his third knockout win after seven professional fights.
Boxers work very hard, but so too do the gentleman that preside over the regulatory frame that keeps our sport vibrant and our fighters as safe as possible.
A big shout out to these four - Vietnam's Lim Song, the Philippines' Richard Clarin, Japan's Tsuyoshi Yasukochi and South Korea's Aaron Jang - strident men who all share a unified vision of creating more opportunities for athletes in their respective countries.

Mark John Yap has proved to be one of the best performed pinoys on the international circuit in recent years, and plans to add to his imposing record on the road in Vietnam this month.
The boxer affectionately dubbed "The Journey Man", and more recently as "Fat Yap", appears on a big show at The Grand Ho Tram Resort and Casino, amongst a strong lineup of fighters from many different countries.
Yap was impressive in winning in Manila in January, then followed up with a three month break to welcome the birth of his first child Yuri. He has slowly worked back into fight shape, and performed in an exhibition bout in Ho Chi Minh City last month.

Despite getting off to a slow start, Mark John Yap proved too physical for national youth boxer Nguyễn Hà Minh, dropping him twice in the final round.

The match will take place at The Grand Ho Tram Resort and Casino on Saturday July 15th.

Đây là sự kiện do Cocky Buffalo phối hợp cùng Tổ chức quyền Anh thế giới (WBO) tổ chức tại The Grand Ho Tram Strip. Màn so tài giữa "ốc tiêu" Minh Phát và Zhu thuộc hạng minimumweight (48kg) là một trong những trận thư hùng tâm điểm của sự kiện. Người thắng trận này sẽ lấy suất tranh đai WBO toàn cầu.

Trận đấu hứa hẹn hấp dẫn khi cả hai võ sĩ đều sở hữu chuỗi thành tích ấn tượng. Minh Phát hiện có chín trận thắng, trong đó có bảy bằng knock-out, qua 13 lần thượng đài. Anh được trang BoxRec xếp hạng 1 sao cùng vị trí thứ 73 thế giới ở hạng minimumweight.
Zhu được đánh giá cao hơn nhờ tỷ lệ knock-out ấn tượng. Võ sĩ Trung Quốc thắng tám, trong đó có bảy bằng knock-out, qua chín trận chuyên nghiệp. Anh hiện là võ sĩ số một Trung Quốc ở hạng cân minimumweight.
Trên bảng xếp hạng thế giới, Zhu xếp trên Minh Phát 24 bậc và được trang BoxRec đánh giá ở cấp độ 2 sao. Zhu từng giành đai vô địch WBC châu Á vào năm 2019. Với bảng thành tích ấn tượng, Zhu chắc chắn sẽ là thử thách khó khăn cho tay đấm chủ nhà.

Võ sĩ nổi tiếng khác của Việt Nam là Nguyễn Văn Hải cũng góp mặt tại sự kiện WBO Global Prelude sắp tới ở hạng cân Super Featherweight 58,97 kg. Tay đấm sinh năm 1988, từng bảy lần vô địch quốc gia sẽ so găng Abdul Motalib - đối thủ Bangladesh có biệt danh "Sát thủ Thầm lặng" với chuỗi 5 trận toàn thắng.
WBO Global Prelude còn có một số trận khác hứa hẹn hấp dẫn. Võ sĩ 17 tuổi mang hai dòng máu Việt - Hàn Lee Juyeong sẽ so tài đối thủ Indonesia Dedy Imprax. Võ sĩ Philippines từng đánh gần 50 trận nhà nghề Mark John Yap thượng đài với Mohon Ali (Bangladesh). Và võ sĩ kỳ cựu người Papua New Guinea - Junior Kauko Raka so găng cùng Xiao Tao Su, tay đấm Trung Quốc 26 tuổi đang có 11 chiến thắng, trong đó có sáu bằng knock-out, sau 14 lần thượng đài.
