Papua New Guinea will take its boxing talent on the road this April, with four highly promising athletes travelling to Ho Chi Minh City for an international professional boxing event.

Leading the group is Junior Kauko Raka (seated), widely regarded as Papua New Guinea’s most recognised professional boxer.

Raka says the team is pumped about the opportunity, and confident they can deliver killer performances.

“We know that Vietnamese fighters compete with great spirit,” Raka said.

“I’ve been there before — they got skills and they’re tough brother.

“But I have warning for them.

“My team has been working extra hard, and we’re coming to give everything we’ve got.

We want to show that Papua New Guinea can mix it with the big boys. We're on the world stage now.

TRIGGER PROMOTION 7 will be held in Thao Dien HCMC on Sunday April 19th.

Two outstanding fighters are set to go head-to-head in Ho Chi Minh City next month as Vietnam’s growing professional boxing scene continues to embrace its “No Ducking” philosophy.

Vietnamese star Nguyễn Văn Hải has become a respected name in the nation’s fight sports. Despite limited opportunities in professional boxing, the “Hanoi Hitman” has compiled a solid 8–3 record.

What makes that record even more impressive is the context. Many of Hải’s bouts have come on short notice and without a full training camp, and his defeats have all been competitive points losses against unbeaten fighters ranked inside the world’s top 30.

On April 19, Hải will once again answer a late call for a high-level challenge.

Standing across the ring will be Uzbekistan’s Islombek Pirmanov. Uzbekistan has built a reputation as a production line for technically brilliant boxers, and Vietnam is honoured to welcome Pirmanov for this exciting clash.

Pirmanov was an exceptional amateur, compiling a remarkable 230–12 record as a junior competitor.

Since turning professional, he has been even more destructive.

The Uzbek arrives undefeated at 9-0, and every single victory has come by knockout.

The popular boxer from Port Moresby is set to return to the ring in Ho Chi Minh City this April. Raka was last seen competing in late 2024, when he dismantled Indonesia’s Ricky Manufoe. Despite the long absence, the Prodigy remains optimistic about his prospects.

“I love the sport of boxing – I was born to fight, and it makes me happy to train others, especially the kids.

On April 19th in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnamese fight fans will meet one of Hong Kong’s most experienced female boxing figures when "Winnie" Yin Yin Au (歐盈盈) steps into the ring at TRIGGER PROMOTION 7.

Born on September 7, 1984, in Hong Kong, “Winnie” Au represents the steady wave of emerging fighters from the city’s growing boxing scene.

Competing professionally in the super bantamweight (122 lbs) division, she currently holds a record of 1–0–1, most recently securing a unanimous decision victory at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong.

But her professional record tells only part of the story.

Built Through the Amateur Ranks

Before turning professional, Au built a deep foundation in international amateur boxing.

She competed at the 2020 Asia/Oceania Olympic Boxing Qualification Tournament in Amman, Jordan, where she faced world-class Irish Magno of the Philippines in the women’s flyweight division — a supreme test at elite level competition.

In 2024, she claimed a silver medal at the Olympic Dreamer Tournament, competing in the women’s bantamweight (54kg) category — further proof of her continued ring knowledge, experience, and composure under pressure.

One of the greatest boxers Vietnam has ever produced is set to make a stunning return to the ring after a 10-year absence from the sport.

Boxing fans are certainly no strangers to the name Le Thi Bang. Not only is she known for her striking appearance and impressive height, but the Hung Yen native also boasts an outstanding list of achievements inside the ring.

As a standout athlete of the Army Boxing Team, Bang consistently represented Vietnam at major domestic and international tournaments, excelling at the highest levels of competition. Her decorated amateur career was highlighted by a gold medal at the 28th SEA Games in the 54kg division, along with a bronze medal at the 17th Asian Games.

However, persistent back injuries forced the talented southpaw into retirement in 2016, bringing an abrupt halt to a stellar career.

But in what can only be described as one of the most unlikely news flashes in recent Vietnamese boxing history…

BANG IS BACK!

Numerous attempts over the years to lure the former champion back into competition had gone unanswered. Yet the recent surge and growing momentum of professional boxing in Ho Chi Minh City appears to have reignited her fighting spirit.

And now it’s official.

Former SEA Games gold medalist Le Thi Bang is listed to compete at TRIGGER PROMOTION 7, taking place on Sunday, April 19th in Ho Chi Minh City.

I am thrilled to announce a major milestone for the combat sports market in Vietnam: The IBF will officially host its 2026 Annual Convention here.

This convention is more than just an event; it is a global gathering of top referees, judges, champions, medical experts, promoters, and media. For Vietnam, hosting this event acts as a catalyst for the boxing industry, driving socio-economic development and offering our local talent life-changing networking opportunities.

The Backstory: From "Not on the List" to "Host Country". At the start of 2025, Vietnam wasn’t on the IBF’s radar. As a representative of the VBO, I flew to the convention in Atlantic City with a single mission: to pitch Vietnam to the IBF leadership.

I want to thank Mr. Daryl Peoples (President of IBF) and Ms. Jeanette Salazar (Director of PR) in trusting in the potential of Vietnam.

It took months of negotiation, site visits, and showcasing our nation's potential to convince them. The effort to secure this bid was immense, but the reward is historic: This will be the first time the IBF Convention is held in Southeast Asia.

Looking Ahead Securing the bid was step one. Executing a world-class event is step two. We are grateful for the incredible support of The Grand Ho Tram, but there is still work to be done to cover the significant costs and logistics involved.

We have met with the government representatives in HCMC and Hanoi and they are fully supportive.  We have also dispatched official invitations to local boxing federations.

I sincerely hope all individuals and organizations in Vietnam will seize this opportunity to help grow the sport we love. We are open to all forms of collaboration and sponsorship to make this event a resounding success.

The Grand Ho Tram announced on January 27 that it will host the 41st Annual Convention of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), scheduled to take place May 24-28.

This marks a historic moment as the IBF selects Vietnam and Southeast Asia for the first time as the destination for its premier professional boxing convention.

The IBF Annual Convention is the most important annual gathering of the International Boxing Federation, one of the world’s four major professional boxing organisations. It is expected to attract hundreds of international delegates, further enhancing Vietnam’s global profile and contributing to the country’s tourism and events economy in 2026.

The convention brings together IBF leadership, world champions, promoters, boxing officials, and industry stakeholders from more than 60 countries to discuss and shape key strategic decisions related to competition regulations, world rankings, athlete safety, and the global development of professional boxing.

Previous IBF conventions have resulted in significant advancements, including updates to the global ranking system, strengthened medical and safety standards, expanded international referee training programmes, and the establishment of development pathways for emerging boxing markets across Asia.

The 41st IBF Annual Convention in Vietnam is expected to further advance these initiatives while opening new opportunities for Southeast Asia – particularly in nurturing young talent, strengthening local professional capacity, and creating regional pathways for Vietnamese boxers to access international competition platforms.

The presence of IBF senior leadership and world-class champions in Vietnam represents not only a professional milestone but also positions Vietnam as a rising destination on the global boxing map, reflecting the country’s growing role within the international sports ecosystem.

Besides that, the selection of The Grand Ho Tram as the host venue underscores the destination’s international-standard facilities and growing reputation as a hub for world-class sporting and business events.

This Sunday in Thảo Điền, de Araujo will make history as the first boxer from Timor-Leste to compete in Vietnam, appearing in the main bout at Trigger Promotion 6.

Undefeated with knockout power in both hands (2-0, 2 KO), the young fighter has vowed to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City all guns blazing.

Timor-Leste (East Timor) is a Southeast Asian nation occupying the eastern half of the island of Timor and is widely known as Asia’s newest country, having gained full independence in 2002. Now, the nation is also working to establish its presence in professional boxing.

De Araujo has received strong support from his homeland, proudly representing his country as a flag-bearing ambassador of the sport. His campaign has been backed by TELEMOR (telecommunications) and BORALA, LDA (construction and civil services), as he aims to become the first Timor-Leste boxer to win on Vietnamese soil

The rising star has also been supported by local law enforcement and was pictured this week alongside Henrique da Costa, Commissioner-General of Police of Timor-Leste.

Joining the delegation is trainer Thomas Americo Jr, whose father previously challenged for a world title. Americo Jr will also travel to Ho Chi Minh City this week in preparation for the bout.

A relative newcomer to the sport, Shanell is a truly unique girl, who VSP first noticed when as a raw novice, she was responsible for a "Fight of the Year" contender against Ashleigh Sims.

Shanell Dargan is an Australian professional boxer who will feature in one of the headline bouts at TRIGGER PROMOTION 6 this coming January. She is of Indigenous heritage — identifying as Wiradjuri and Mununjali, and also has Irish ancestry through her grandmother. But before boxing, she had a different dream: singing. She competed on the 2014 version of The X Factor (Australia), and even once sang for John Legend in New York.She also played sports in her youth: rugby league / touch football among others — so physical activity was always part of her life.

BOXING CAREER

Shanell only started boxing around 2019, after her son was born, using the sport as a physical and emotional outlet.She turned professional in 2022.Her first pro win came in July 2022 against Jaala Tomat, by majority decision.In October 2023 (her 6th fight), she won the vacant national title — the Australian Super Bantamweight Title — defeating fellow Indigenous boxer Amber Amelia.A very big milestone: in July 2025, she captured the WBC Asia Super-Bantamweight Title — winning by first-round stoppage over Thailand’s Kanokwan Wirunpat.She also recently secured a unanimous-decision win versus Jittamat Phomta in June 2025.

Dargan says boxing “saved her life.”She turned to it after experiencing depression and trauma following domestic violence and difficult family circumstances.Her journey isn’t just personal — she sees her success as representation for Indigenous people. She hopes to inspire young Aboriginal girls and Indigenous Australians facing hardship to believe in themselves.She was recently announced as an ambassador for organisations supporting Aboriginal communities, showing she’s using her platform beyond the ring.

MAKING HISTORY

When she won the Australian Super Bantamweight title, the belt was updated to include the Aboriginal flag alongside the Australian flag — a symbolic nod to the lineage of Indigenous Australian boxing champions. Dargan has spoken about how proud she was to see that.Her success reflects a growing generation of Indigenous boxers (male and female) reclaiming space in the sport after decades of under-representation.

Dargan has expressed the ambition to become the first Indigenous female world champion — a goal that would break new ground.As of 2025, she has been actively building momentum: defending/regaining belts, staying active in the ring, and exploring opportunities beyond national and regional titles. FORT WORTH, Texas – In a united defense to the attempted alterations of the federal regulations protecting boxers, the World Boxing Organization and International Boxing Federation will stage a first-ever joint convention in the fall of 2026 to emphasize why their belts matter, BoxingScene learned Friday.

Expecting the new Saudi Arabian-funded promotion Zuffa Boxing to win Congressional approval for new regulations that will allow the promotion to rank its own fighters and award its own belts while bypassing the financial disclosure rules that currently exist, the American-based sanctioning bodies will also launch an aggressive campaign to educate fighters how gaining a title belt increases their earnings in boxing’s currently free market.

Zuffa Boxing head Dana White, the CEO and President of UFC, said his new promotion does not intend to work with the four major sanctioning bodies and major promoters.

The WBO-IBF convention will likely occur in Orlando, Florida, one official told BoxingScene. A formal announcement is expected to arrive next week.

Last month, the WBO staged its annual convention in Bogota, Colombia, and the IBF is scheduled to conduct theirs in Vietnam this spring.

The 2026 joint convention will feature unification bouts between WBO and IBF champions, who will most likely wear the North American or International version of the bodies’ belts.

The WBO and IBF will conduct joint seminars and awards sessions together at the event while working between now and then for lobbying assistance to retain – or restore – the federal protections in place for boxers.

At this point, the WBA and WBC, which have accepted sponsorship funds from Saudi Arabia boxing financier Turki Alalshikh’s Riyadh Season, are not part of next year’s affair.

Staging the joint convention in the U.S. and making it open to the public is imperative to effectively expose and resist the planned changes being sought by Zuffa Boxing, an official involved in the cause said.

“The Hanoi Hitman” Nguyễn Văn Hải đã góp mặt trong trận đấu chính vào tối thứ Bảy vừa qua tại Trigger Promotion 5 – sự kiện quyền anh chuyên nghiệp đầu tiên được tổ chức tại Việt Nam trong năm nay.

Và dự kiến đây sẽ chỉ là bước khởi đầu, khi đội ngũ đầy nhiệt huyết của Trigger Boxing cùng nhiều đơn vị tổ chức khác đang lên kế hoạch thực hiện thêm nhiều giải đấu trong thời gian tới.

Ông Nghị, Chủ tịch Liên đoàn Boxing TP.HCM, đã nỗ lực không ngừng để đưa boxing trở lại và phát triển mạnh mẽ. Ông cùng Giám sát VBO – Tiến sĩ Lim Song đã trực tiếp giám sát sự kiện lịch sử này, đánh dấu sự trở lại đầy ấn tượng của boxing chuyên nghiệp tại Việt Nam.

Trigger Promotion 5 được Sở Văn hóa và Thể thao TP.HCM phê duyệt, tổ chức trong hai ngày 24–25/10, do Liên đoàn Boxing TP.HCM phối hợp cùng Trigger Boxing đăng cai.

Sự kiện này không chỉ là bước tiến trong việc chuyên nghiệp hóa môn boxing tại Việt Nam, mà còn là minh chứng cho nỗ lực của cộng đồng thể thao TP.HCM trong việc xây dựng một môi trường thể thao lành mạnh, hiện đại và hội nhập quốc tế.

Chia sẻ về định hướng lâu dài, ông Trịnh Văn Trí – nhà sáng lập Trigger Boxing Club – cho biết:

> “Chúng tôi dự định tổ chức 4–5 giải đấu tương tự mỗi năm, để các võ sĩ có thêm cơ hội thi đấu, nâng cao kỹ năng và có nguồn thu nhập ổn định.”

Tay đấm người Nepal đang thi đấu tại Hong Kong Ashish Gurung (4-1, 3 KOs) sẽ đối đầu cùng võ sĩ hạng 51kg số 2 của Việt Nam – Lê Tiến Đạt (4-2) trong trận đấu 8 hiệp diễn ra vào ngày mai, 10 tháng 10 năm 2025, thuộc sự kiện “Encounter 2” tại Southern Stadium.

Cả hai võ sĩ đã chính thức lên cân sáng nay, cùng đạt mức 116 pounds, hứa hẹn một màn so găng ngang tài ngang sức.

Gurung nổi tiếng với sức mạnh knockout và lối tấn công áp đảo, sẽ tìm cách nối dài chuỗi chiến thắng của mình trước Lê Tiến Đạt – một võ sĩ kỹ thuật, bình tĩnh và khôn khéo, được đánh giá là người có trình độ chuyên môn vượt trội hơn trong cặp đấu này.

Với Lê Tiến Đạt, chìa khóa để giành chiến thắng sẽ là tránh sa vào lối đánh ăn miếng trả miếng, di chuyển linh hoạt liên tục, và tận dụng thời điểm cùng độ chính xác để khắc chế đối thủ to lớn nhưng kém linh hoạt hơn.

Tay đấm đến từ TP. Hồ Chí Minh – Lê Tiến Đạt – đã sẵn sàng lên đường sang Hồng Kông để chuẩn bị cho trận đấu vào tối thứ Sáu với tay đấm trẻ đầy triển vọng đến từ Nepal, Ashish Gurung.

Sự kiện “Trigger Championship” sẽ được tổ chức tại khu tổ hợp mới rộng 1000m² ở Thảo Điền, với tâm điểm là sự trở lại của “Sát thủ Hà Nội” Nguyễn Văn Hải.

IBF - một trong bốn tổ chức Boxing chuyên nghiệp lớn nhất thế giới sẽ tô chức Hội nghị Thường niên lần thứ 41 tại Việt Nam.

Liên đoàn Quyền Anh Quốc tế (IBF) xác nhận sẽ tổ chức Hội nghị Thường niên lần thứ 41 tại Khu nghỉ dưỡng Grand Hồ Tràm, tỉnh Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, từ ngày 24 đến ngày 28 tháng 5 năm 2026. Đây là lần đầu tiên trong lịch sử, một kỳ đại hội của IBF được tổ chức tại Đông Nam Á, đánh dấu bước ngoặt quan trọng trong nỗ lực mở rộng ảnh hưởng của tổ chức tại những thị trường thể thao mới nổi.

Theo Chủ tịch IBF, ông Daryl Peoples, việc lựa chọn Việt Nam làm địa điểm tổ chức là minh chứng cho sự kết nối giữa giá trị truyền thống của quyền anh với sự năng động và phát triển mạnh mẽ của đất nước. Ông nhấn mạnh: “Chúng tôi tự hào mang đại hội đến Việt Nam, một quốc gia với câu chuyện về tiềm năng, sự phát triển và hiện đại hóa phản ánh nhiều giá trị đặc trưng của môn quyền anh. Việt Nam vừa có di sản văn hóa phong phú, vừa đang trỗi dậy như một trung tâm kinh tế và văn hóa toàn cầu.”

Liên đoàn Quyền Anh Quốc tế (International Boxing Federation) được thành lập năm 1983 và ngay lập tức được ghi nhận là một trong những tổ chức quản lý Quyền Anh (Boxing) chuyên nghiệp uy tín nhất thế giới, bên cạnh các tổ chức lâu đời như WBA, WBC và sau đó là WBO.

Các hoạt động của IBF được ghi nhận khi tạo cơ hội cho nhiều võ sĩ chuyên nghiệp bước lên đẳng cấp thế giới, đồng thời phát triển các thị trường tiềm năng của môn Boxing tại khu vực Châu Á - Thái Bình Dương. Tại Việt Nam, khán giả đã được chứng kiến các hoạt động của IBF với loạt sự kiện diễn ra tại The Grand Ho Tram Strip, tiêu biểu là trao chiếc đai vô địch IBF Châu Á cho võ sĩ Đinh Hồng Quân sau chiến thắng trước đối thủ Delmar Pellio (Philippines) vào năm 2022.

Hội nghị thường niên IBF từ lâu đã được xem là nền tảng chiến lược để cộng đồng Quyền Anh thế giới thảo luận về tương lai, đồng thời nâng cao chất lượng chuyên môn. Tại Việt Nam, chương trình sẽ bao gồm nhiều hoạt động quan trọng. Các hội thảo chuyên đề dành cho trọng tài và giám khảo sẽ tập trung vào việc nâng cao tiêu chuẩn điều hành, thúc đẩy chia sẻ kinh nghiệm, đồng thời đảm bảo tính nhất quán trong các trận đấu quốc tế.

Song song với đó, một hội thảo y khoa chuyên sâu cũng sẽ được tổ chức, tập trung vào những chủ đề mang tính sống còn đối với vận động viên như sức khỏe, phòng ngừa chấn thương, quy trình an toàn trên võ đài và những tiến bộ mới nhất trong y học thể thao. Những nội dung này được kỳ vọng sẽ giúp nâng cao trình độ chuyên môn và cập nhật các thông lệ tốt nhất cho môn quyền anh hiện đại.

Không chỉ dừng lại ở khía cạnh chuyên môn, Hội nghị IBF tại Việt Nam còn mang tính chất giao lưu quốc tế sâu sắc. Nhiều sự kiện bên lề sẽ được tổ chức, tạo cơ hội để các đại biểu kết nối, xây dựng quan hệ cá nhân và nghề nghiệp. Đây cũng là dịp để bạn bè quốc tế trải nghiệm văn hóa, ẩm thực, du lịch và lòng hiếu khách đặc trưng của người Việt Nam. Chủ tịch Daryl Peoples khẳng định: “Chúng tôi mong muốn xây dựng mối quan hệ bền chặt, lâu dài với các đối tác tại Việt Nam, đồng thời tiếp tục củng cố quan hệ trên khắp châu Á và thế giới để hỗ trợ sự phát triển cũng như sự công nhận toàn cầu của quyền anh.”

Ở góc độ trong nước, sự kiện được kỳ vọng sẽ trở thành cú hích lớn cho phong trào quyền anh. Tiến sĩ Lim Song, Chủ tịch Tổ chức Quyền Anh Việt Nam (VBO), bày tỏ sự phấn khởi: “Đại hội Toàn cầu IBF tại Việt Nam đánh dấu lần đầu tiên trong lịch sử khu vực. Đây là nguồn tri thức, chuyên môn và tình bạn quốc tế hội tụ để cùng phát triển quyền anh tại Việt Nam và khu vực với dân số hơn 700 triệu người. Đại hội sẽ truyền cảm hứng cho một thế hệ nhà vô địch, nhà quảng bá và quan chức mới.”

Với tầm vóc quốc tế, Hội nghị Thường niên IBF lần thứ 41 không chỉ là cơ hội để Việt Nam quảng bá hình ảnh đất nước năng động, giàu bản sắc, mà còn là bước tiến lớn trên hành trình hội nhập thể thao toàn cầu. Sự kiện hứa hẹn sẽ mở ra một giai đoạn phát triển mới cho quyền anh Việt Nam, góp phần đưa các võ sĩ, trọng tài và nhà tổ chức trong nước tiến gần hơn đến chuẩn mực chuyên nghiệp quốc tế.

The fight application has been withdrawn from Georgia, and the fight will now be now be moved to a far more liberal thinking Miami Florida.

Jake Paul promises fans that Davis would also be treated to a "bar sports" style event after the bout, suggesting a competition based around how far players can toss the former champ.

Dwarf throwing has in fact been outlawed in many states in recent years, but it isn't clear if this impacted upon the fight being moved from the originally intended Georgia.

Paul has also hinted at his desire to fire Gervonta Davis from a cannon at an outdoor after party, but plans for this are still in the early stages.

Lê Tiến Đạt đã bị xếp vào một trận đấu không được phê duyệt, đối thủ lại không phải người có tên trong hợp đồng. Đáng lo ngại, trận đấu này vẫn bị ghi nhận trên BoxRec.

Tệ hơn nữa, Hiệp hội Quyền anh Hàn Quốc (Korean Boxing Association) — một trong sáu “ủy ban quản lý” tại Hàn Quốc — đã phê duyệt cho Đạt (người chưa từng thi đấu quá 6 hiệp và đã không thượng đài kể từ năm 2023) tham gia một trận tranh đai 10 hiệp.

Quyết định này đi ngược lại logic và trách nhiệm. Các ủy ban uy tín hơn trong khu vực châu Á sẽ không bao giờ cho phép một sự chênh lệch như vậy. Trận đấu chắc chắn sẽ không được HBF (nơi Đạt được đăng ký là võ sĩ nghiệp dư) hoặc Việt Nam Boxing Organization (VBO) – tổ chức được quốc tế công nhận trong lĩnh vực quyền anh chuyên nghiệp tại Việt Nam – thông qua.

VBO luôn thận trọng trong việc hợp tác với các ủy ban quốc tế và kiên quyết tránh làm việc với những tổ chức không đáp ứng các tiêu chuẩn toàn cầu.

Để bảo vệ sự nghiệp, an toàn và quyền lợi của mình, VBO khuyến cáo tất cả các võ sĩ Việt Nam:

Luôn thông báo cho VBO trước khi thi đấu ở nước ngoài – dù là trận biểu diễn hay chuyên nghiệp.

Đảm bảo hợp đồng của bạn rõ ràng, công bằng và được thực thi đúng.

Chỉ khi chúng ta cùng nhau cảnh giác và đoàn kết, mới có thể ngăn chặn tình trạng lợi dụng và bảo vệ sự phát triển lành mạnh của quyền anh Việt Nam.

Đấu quyền Anh chuyên nghiệp đang trở lại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, nhưng không giống như đấu nghiệp dư, kết quả của các trận đấu có sự khác biệt rất lớn. Dưới đây là tóm tắt ngắn gọn về cách kết thúc trận đấu trong quyền Anh chuyên nghiệp.

Cách Thắng

1. Knockout (KO): Đối thủ bị hạ gục và không thể đứng dậy trước khi trọng tài đếm đến 10. Cũng có thể xảy ra nếu võ sĩ bị đánh bật ra khỏi sàn đấu và không thể trở lại trước khi đếm đến 20.

2. Technical Knockout (TKO): Trọng tài dừng trận đấu vì một võ sĩ không thể tự vệ hoặc đang chịu nhiều đòn nặng. Bác sĩ bên ngoài can thiệp do chấn thương (cắt, sưng, gãy tay, v.v.). Võ sĩ bị hạ gục nhiều lần trong một hiệp (tùy thuộc vào quy định địa phương, ví dụ: "quy tắc 3 lần hạ gục").

3. Retirement (RTD / Corner Stoppage): Góc của võ sĩ quyết định rằng võ sĩ của họ không thể tiếp tục, thường là vào cuối hiệp (ném khăn vào).

4. Disqualification (DQ): Một võ sĩ bị truất quyền thi đấu bởi trọng tài vì các lỗi liên tiếp, lỗi nghiêm trọng (đòn thấp, đầu gối, cắn, đánh sau chuông, v.v.) hoặc hành vi không thể chấp nhận được. Có thể xảy ra ngay lập tức (lỗi nghiêm trọng) hoặc sau khi bị cảnh cáo/trừ điểm.

5. Decision (Bảng điểm của trọng tài):

- Unanimous Decision (UD): Tất cả ba trọng tài đều ủng hộ cùng một võ sĩ.

- Split Decision (SD): Hai trọng tài chấm điểm cho một võ sĩ, trọng tài còn lại cho đối thủ.

- Majority Decision (MD): Hai trọng tài ủng hộ một võ sĩ, trọng tài thứ ba chấm điểm hòa.

6. Technical Decision (TD): Trận đấu bị dừng sớm do chấn thương ngoài ý muốn (ví dụ: va chạm đầu, cắt), sau khi tối thiểu số hiệp (thường là 4) đã được hoàn thành. Người chiến thắng được quyết định dựa trên bảng điểm tại thời điểm dừng trận.

7. Hòa:

- Unanimous Draw: Tất cả trọng tài đều chấm điểm trận đấu hòa.

- Majority Draw: Hai trọng tài chấm điểm hòa, một trọng tài ủng hộ một võ sĩ.

- Split Draw: Một trọng tài ủng hộ võ sĩ A, một trọng tài ủng hộ võ sĩ B và một trọng tài chấm điểm hòa.

8. Technical Draw: Trận đấu bị dừng do chấn thương ngoài ý muốn trước khi hoàn thành số hiệp tối thiểu (ví dụ: trước khi hoàn thành 4 hiệp), dẫn đến không có người chiến thắng.

9. No Contest (NC): Trận đấu bị tuyên bố vô hiệu do các tình huống ngoài tầm kiểm soát của võ sĩ (lỗi ngoài ý muốn, can thiệp của khán giả, sàn đấu bị sập hoặc võ sĩ không thể tiếp tục do lỗi ngoài ý muốn trước khi hoàn thành số hiệp tối thiểu).

- Thắng: KO, TKO, RTD, DQ, UD, SD, MD, TD.

- Hòa: Unanimous, Majority, Split, Technical.

- No Contest (NC).

Fresh off his impressive July 19th victory over Mexico’s Jorge Mata in Las Vegas, Magsayo is primed for a world title shot. If a championship bout isn’t secured in time, he will still feature in a world title eliminator, keeping his path to the belt in clear view.

Jerusalem, meanwhile, delivered a clinical win against Yudai Shigeoka in Nagoya earlier this year, and Taduran successfully defended his title in May with a super dominant performance over Ginjiro Shigeoka in Osaka.

The official date of the event is still under discussion, with major stakeholders coordinating logistics to ensure a seamless production. However, anticipation is already building as the country prepares to mark the golden jubilee of one of boxing’s greatest nights.

Elorde boxer Ben Ligas weighed in this morning for his 118lb Bantamweight clash with Keita Nakayama tomorrow in Japan.

Việt Nam đang từng bước khẳng định vị thế là một quốc gia có ảnh hưởng trong làng quyền anh chuyên nghiệp toàn cầu, với đề xuất đầy tham vọng đăng cai Hội nghị IBF năm 2026. Hồ sơ đăng cai chính thức đã được Tiến sĩ Lim Song, Chủ tịch Vietnam Boxing Organization (VBO), trình bày tại Hội nghị IBF lần thứ 40 diễn ra ngày 3 tháng 6 năm 2025 tại Atlantic City, Hoa Kỳ.

Hội nghị IBF là một trong những sự kiện thường niên danh giá nhất của quyền anh chuyên nghiệp, thu hút từ 300 đến 400 đại biểu từ khắp nơi trên thế giới, bao gồm các quan chức liên đoàn, nhà tổ chức, quản lý, võ sĩ, đài truyền hình và các đại diện truyền thông.

Việc đăng cai một sự kiện có tầm vóc như vậy sẽ là cột mốc lịch sử trong sự phát triển thể thao và kinh tế của Việt Nam.

“Việt Nam đã sẵn sàng đón nhận tương lai của quyền anh,” Tiến sĩ Lim Song chia sẻ.

Huy, Nguyễn Hải Đăng và Adones Cabalquinto sẽ thi đấu tại sự kiện NO WAY OUT vào tối mai tại Q Room ở Melbourne.

Chương trình do Peter Maniatis Events – một trong những đơn vị ủng hộ boxing chuyên nghiệp lớn nhất nước Úc – tổ chức.

Lễ cân sẽ diễn ra vào cuối ngày hôm nay.

Vietnam 🇻🇳 boxers Thai Hoang Huy and Tran Tan Quang Dao have only just arrived in Australia, and are already meeting the locals.

Huy, Nguyen Hai Dang and Adones Cabalquinto will be competing at the NO WAY OUT event tomorrow night at the Q Room in Melbourne.

The promotion comes courtesy of one of the country's biggest supporters of professional boxing Peter Maniatis Events.

The weigh-in will be held later today.

Nhật Bản hiện đang sở hữu 5 võ sĩ hàng đầu thế giới ở hạng cân của Trần Văn Thảo, và 8 người trong top 10.

Điều này là cực kỳ hiếm thấy!

Không một quốc gia nào khác thống trị một hạng cân danh giá như vậy – kể cả Hoa Kỳ!

Và đừng quên, Nhật Bản còn có "quái vật" Naoya Inoue, người được xem là võ sĩ hay nhất thế giới hiện nay.

Trần Văn Thảo vừa thượng đài với một tay đấm được dự đoán sẽ là ngôi sao tương lai của Nhật Bản ở hạng Bantamweight – và điều đó hoàn toàn hợp lý vì anh ta từng là vô địch thế giới nghiệp dư.

Đây là một đối thủ rất nghiêm túc – không phải “tay mơ” nào cả.

Tôi đã tham gia boxing quốc tế nhiều năm, và không bao giờ dùng từ “huyền thoại” hay “người hùng” một cách tùy tiện.

Nên hãy hiểu rõ ngữ cảnh sau đây.

Trần Văn Thảo đến từ một đất nước chưa có nền boxing chuyên nghiệp phát triển.

Việc thi đấu thường xuyên và tập luyện với đối thủ đẳng cấp cao là điều gần như không thể tại Việt Nam lúc này.

Đây là bất lợi rất lớn cho các võ sĩ tài năng của chúng ta.

Dù vậy, Thảo vẫn đạt được xếp hạng thế giới, và trở thành võ sĩ Việt Nam đầu tiên được mời thi đấu trên sân khấu lớn nhất thế giới, đối đầu với một đối thủ đẳng cấp cao.

Không những thế, anh còn là trận đấu chính trong loạt trận phụ trước trận tranh đai vô địch thế giới.

Đây là dấu ấn đặc biệt – và Trần Văn Thảo xứng đáng được xem là một người hùng.

Vâng – tất cả chúng ta đều xem rồi.

Nhưng điều đáng nể hơn là: Chính Thảo đã can đảm bước vào và chiến đấu.

Thua là xác suất 50% của mọi trận đấu, nhưng Thảo đã cho cả thế giới thấy rằng võ sĩ Việt Nam KHÔNG BAO GIỜ GỤC NGÃ!

Không bỏ cuộc – và phẩm chất đó là điều rất hiếm ở con người. Màn thể hiện của Thảo là nguồn cảm hứng lớn.

Đối thủ trước đó của Tomoya Tsuboi có thành tích 14 thắng – 2 thua, nhưng bị hạ KO chỉ trong 2 hiệp.

Những bài học sau thất bại rất giá trị với mọi võ sĩ – và chính điều đó sẽ giúp Thảo phát triển mạnh mẽ hơn rất nhiều, đặc biệt nếu anh có cơ hội trở lại sàn đấu thế giới.

Tôi là người làm nghề tổ chức, và nếu tôi là promoter phía Nhật, tôi chắc chắn sẽ mời Thảo quay lại lần nữa!

Tinh thần chiến đấu và sự bền bỉ của anh ấy đã nâng tầm thương hiệu boxing Việt Nam trên trường quốc tế – và đó là một thành tựu không thể phủ nhận.
