Vastly experienced fighter that has competed with some of the best locally and internationally. He is very well respected on the local scene, obviated by the fact that many fighters reject the opportunity to fight Gonzales. “Real Steal” is perfectly named, he is just so resilient and tough. But he has a deceptive good boxing IQ, can vary his power quite nicely, and employs a deft pull counter.
This is a re-match versus the mad dog Jino Rodrigo, and their original encounter in July of last year was an epic. Both fighters have claims to say that they will improve come March 12th, but based on their first fight, Gonzales did have the appearance to be a little more ring rusty than the opponent Rodrigo. The first fight was close, expect a cliff hanger once more!
Fighters are jumping from the rooftops to join the biggest and best fight show to launch the new year - UKC REVOLUTION in Parañaque on Monday January 30th.

Another closely fought and compelling fight between the experienced Roberto Gonzales and improving youngster Jino Rodrigo.
After having a point deducted for a low blow, Gonzales rallied, but was stopped surprisingly late in the final round.
Gonzales put some great combinations together, but often gave points back due to being countered.
Rodrigo continues to grow.

Bad Bad Basas is a super strong and improving type, and he takes on a more experienced and skilled Jason Buenaobra. Both these guys did great with a common opponent in Lorenz Ladrada, so their clash should prove one of the more interesting matches of the big 15 fight card.
