Asia Boxing Convention & Boxing Event

From August 1~4th, we will host Asia Boxing Convention combined with international boxing event that features 8 bouts including WBO Global Minimumweight & IBF Asia Pacific Welterweight championship.

Who are coming?
Professional Boxing Commissioners, Promoters, Match Makers, Managers, Boxers, Sponsors, Global Sanctioning bodies.
What are the objectives of the convention?

Create a forum for all industry participants to get together annually for networking, official training, panel discussions, regional awards & recognitions, charity, sharing of best practices, and create standardization.

Where is it held?

It is held at Hoiana Resort & Golf which is a 5 Stars casino resort located in the middle of Vietnam. The nearest international airport is Da Nang International Airport (DAD). The hotel is about 1 hour from the airport and the hotel offers free shuttle bus to/from airport to hotel. You can find more info below:

What is the schedule?

August 1

  1. Commissioners meeting (Commissions should arrive on the 31st July). The rest of the guests for the convention would arrive on August 1st.

  1. 09:00AM - Technical Weigh In & Rules Meeting
  2. 11:00AM - Technology Introduction for Promoters & Commission
  3. 12:00PM - Lunch (1.5 hours)
  4. 01:30PM - Sanctioning Bodies Presentation (WBO/IBF)
  5. 04:00PM - Public Weigh in @ Casino Lobby
  6. 06:00PM - Gala Dinner, Panel Discussions & VIP Introduction.

August 3

  1. 09:00AM - Ring official seminar / Promoters Meeting
  2. 05:00PM - Election Announcement & Award ceremony
  3. 06:00PM - Event Begins

August 4

  1. Guest Departs - Transportation Provided to Airport every 50 minutes.

Do I need VISA to Vietnam?

If you are holding passport from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus, you DO NOT need visa to enter Vietnam.
